Joe Biden Jr. (born November 20, 1942) is an American politician. He is the 46th and current President of the United States since 2021. Biden was also the 47th Vice President of the United States from 2009 through 2017 during the Barack Obama presidency. Before becoming Vice President, he was a U.S. Senator from Delaware from 1973 to 2009. He had served in the Senate longer than any other Vice President.

Happy Birthday President Abraham Lincoln!

 


Abraham Lincoln (February 12, 1809  – April 15, 1865) was the 16th president of the United States. He helped found the Republican Party, served in the Illinois state legislature, represented Illinois in the House of Representatives, and then was president from 1861 to 1865, during the American Civil War. Just five days after most of the Confederate forces had surrendered and the war was ending, he was assassinated. Lincoln has been remembered as the "Great Emancipator" because he signed the "Emancipation Proclamation" which freed the slaves.
