Interview with Samia Amed (Yemen)

uscitizenpod: Interview with Samia Amed (Yemen)

Today we are going to listen to Nada Anasseri, a teacher and administrator from Sutter County Adult Education in Yuba City, California. We are going to practice the 5th interview from my new book, US Citizenship Bootcamp. This interview focuses on the vocabulary related to identification, travel, claim, vote, taxes, crime, deported, and attachment to the Constitution, plus 6 civics questions.

After the interview, Nada talks about the educational opportunities offered at Sutter County One Stop's Adult Education Program. At the end of the interview, we have further comments about summer and look forward to Eid al-Adha. Let's get started!

Yemen is facing the largest humanitarian crisis of our time: two-thirds of the population are at risk of starvation, with thousands gripped by a deadly cholera outbreak. The International Rescue Committee provides lifesaving emergency aid, clean water and medical care to millions of people in Yemen affected by violent conflict and a growing health crisis.
